When I look at my life from at outside perspective, I can see that I've truly been blessed. By the most amazing and supportive parents, who I have a good relationship our past differences. I've travelled around the world. I study something I truly have a passion for. and I have amazing friends.

Soooo what have I been up to?

On March the 28th, it was my beautiful mummy's birthday and my 'lil brothers' birthday!
photo taken about 11 years ago? I think?
Last weekend an old school friend took me out to see Hunger Games on Vmax! I am suuuuuch a massive fan of the books! I've never gotten into any series previously. LOTR was boring to me, I read 2 HP books? Didn't get into Twilight.. but HUNGER GAMES! oh my goodness me. If you have not read the book. GOGOGOGO. I actually found the movie to be a lil slow. But READ THE SERIES GUYYZZ. I promise you, you will thank me.

The few weekends before that I had photo gigs :) After a good 6 months or so not touching my SLR. I did a favour for a friend which then led me to contacts. A good feeling to be getting back into it, getting good feedback from people. etc.

I also purchased my first piece of Black Milk leggingss!!! yayy.

I am currently not feeling too well, so I am off to bed :) I shall post some of my pictures I've been editing soon!
Love love.

Be yourself, because everyone else is already taken - Oscar Wilde

So be prepared for a lot of bestfriend camwhoring shots in this post :P It is, after all what girlfriends do best, no?
this was a couple of weekends ago at the beautiful Wellington point. It is absolutely gorgeous there, the water is clear and sparkly. There's lil kids playing around, trying to fish.. It was quite a nice, relaxing day :)

the photos aren't perfect. they weren't suppose to be. I love how the light shows up in these photos.. how the few end shots look like they were taken on film. absolutely love it.

new boots from NOVO!
see what i mean by holga/film like?
reminisce of our valentine date a while back :)
look at my face!
eb and I have this thing we do, when we get bored we wander and explore and take photos.  & the thing i looove about  her is that she shares that ability to look at something other people would just ignore and go.. "oooo that's cool, that looks old..I wonder what's the story with that" kinda thing. so the next few photos are from Fanus' house. I've always been fascinated by his big, old (very old) Queenslander house. Instant photographers instict? it'd be great for a photoshoot, with the vintage, genuine interior design/wallpaper etc.
eb and I saw this tub and straight away was so fascinated by how it looked!

Love lost.

Sometimes in your darkness, you just need someone to empathise. To hold your hand. To provide a shoulder to lean on..to listen to you.

Last night, my night was filled with nostalgic memories of a gorgeous boy who had his precious life taken too soon. It was comforting to learn about his lil secrets, his habits, to talk ALOUD about special moments and memories.

I cope with difficult situations in a sort of different way.. I shut out. I try and forget it. and I definitely won't talk about it. Real friends, people who really care, will take the time and effort to gently push you to talk, because they know it's the only way to let go of feelings.Last night brought so much closure to me, and meant so much to me. I am never ever going to express openly to those few people how much the night actually meant to me.

Which brings me to another point. So often we judge too quickly... we tend to form outrageous opinions of a person in our head and somehow mix that up with reality. When really, we need to realise the fragility of life. Don't form judgements, there's always a reason behind close doors why a person might be that way. Always take time to listen and talk to people, there is no such thing as being to busy to listen. I don't mean fickle stuff about makeup and boys (even though that is important), but we all need a good venting once in a while. (mind you, I'm not saying I'm perfect and I haven't been guilty of instantly forming opinions about a person)

Out of everything, I think that's what he taught me the most. Never once did he judge a person or say nasty things. That's just how life is suppose to be..It's sad that it takes such a life altering event, a gorgeous soul lost, for people to realise how short life is. But better late than never..

ANYWAYS! to brighten things up.. happy photos from my trip?
